Apollo 11 Moon Landing Pop-Up Dinner

“That’s one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind.” Sound familiar? While spoken by Apollo 11 Astronaut, Neil Armstrong, 50 years ago, these words and the sentiment of the mission’s achievements still ring proudly today. It was 50 years ago that these astronauts from the United States of America landed on the moon for the very first time. To celebrate this landmark anniversary, Wild Common is reinventing the official State Dinner that welcomed back Apollo 11 with Chef Orlando Pagán’s take on dishes from the 1969 menu. This event will take place on the 50th anniversary of the moon landing, July 20th, with a four-course dinner, wine pairings, and celebratory cocktail.
