Wine Dinner Series: Gramercy Cellars
We are kicking off our Wine Dinner series on Thursday, May 9th with Master Sommelier Greg Harrington of Gramercy Cellars. Chef Orlando Pagán will present a 5-Course Tasting Menu paired with wines from Walla Walla, Washington.
Prior to founding Gramercy Cellars in 2005, Greg spent his career overseeing some of the most prestigious wine programs in the country. Gramercy Cellars produces Rhône- and Bordeaux- varietal-based wines in a terroir-driven, restrained, and elegant style. The wines show intense fruit notes balanced by strong earthy characteristics and will provide an excellent complement to Chef Orlando’s menu for the evening.
Food & Wine Magazine awarded Gramercy Cellars “Best New Winery America;” and it consistently ranks on Wine & Spirits Magazine’s “Top 100 Wineries in the World.” Fun fact about Greg – at age 26, he was the youngest person to pass the Master Sommelier Exam. Technically speaking, that means he basically mastered the art of wine in just five years?!
